Key Responsibility Areas
- Diagnose vehicle damage or malfunctions and discuss repairs with internal customers.
- Disassemble units and inspect parts using specialized tools.
- Install and repair accessories (radios, heaters, mirrors, wipers).
- Overhaul or replace major vehicle components.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance as per checklist.
- Review work orders, plan procedures, and consult technical manuals.
- Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, cooling systems, and more.
- Rebuild power, steering systems, and other assemblies.
- Test and adjust repairs to meet performance specifications.
- Test drive vehicles and use diagnostic equipment for systems checks.
- Follow checklists to inspect critical vehicle parts.
